SABBATICAL PLANNING

Over a year ago I began planning a sabbatical for 2013. My planning has centered around the application form provided by the national clergy renewal program of the Lilly foundation. We are now in the home stretch of the application process, and I am getting very excited about the plans that we have already made for next year. Today I met with Audrey Scanlan from the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut, and we talked about how the plans were shaping up. She asked me whether I was going to have a special blog for the sabbatical, so I decided to begin one now. As plans for the sabbatical develop, I will continually try to update this blog site. In one sense, the sabbatical has already begun. Stay in touch.
